I WILL STOMP YOU WITH NO POWER AND LESS TIRE! Actually, I have no idea. Those tires are sexy any the STs are quick. None have outrun my at my locals yet, but I’m sure that it will happen eventually.

It's really nice looking in person, got a killer deal from tire rack too

They look great, the pattern seems to be somewhat track oriented but still able to cope with rain.

For a little while at least, the tread depth is 7mm compared to 11 mm of most tires so once they wear a bit I suppose they would be any good if there was standing water but the sticky compound should stay fine in damp weather

I might just see if I can find them here, my new car has 17” and I think I’ll use those wheels for autocross. I’ll probably just buy some original steelies for normal use.

They are the 2013 production date non “s” models and are only like $130 a piece in this size!!!

Just put snows on the steel wheels and you'll be all set!!

Do you think I can find them in 215/45 17?
![]() 04/24/2015 at 21:41 |

I do have snow tyres on the steelies :P I live on Norway mate.

Norway huh!? Def have snows huh? What's a popular snow tire out there hakkapuletta?
![]() 04/24/2015 at 21:50 |

I guess you mean hakkapeliitta, and yes... that’s what I chose.. studded ones at that.

Ha yup. Studded nice. Didn't know if autocorrect could fix that for me, I regret buying the Dunlop snows I bought, my last hakka 2 were amazing.

You up north then? Hakka tyres = fantastic :)

Connecticut, U.S. So we get enough snow. I love being out in it and don't want to get slowed by snow. I'm a big advocate amidst a sea of all season tire using fools! Every time it snows I go out driving around to check things out

Connecticut is somewhat snowy right? Not that far north, but far far east, so you get a fair share of snow.
All season = SHIT. :)

Yup pretty far north and way east and the way the weather happens, mega cold fronts dropping from Canada and warm mount fronts from the south coast collide and we get mega storms and we get a lot of storms from the Great Lakes area. I'm far enough inland about and hour that we stay very cold below freezing all winter. We got over 8 feet this year
![]() 04/24/2015 at 22:12 |

Wow.. over 8 feet? I’d love that.. we had less than 2 here this winter. That said we had 10 feet at my cabin.. but that doesn’t count :) The more I hear about American winters the more I want to move there.

Every Sunday and Monday for like 6 weeks we got 18+ inches, it was kind of crazy...it just kept adding up. It tough to plow that much snow, and all these ppl with all seasons suck but are hilarious to watch driving!

I bet it was hilarious :) I love snow though. Building snowmen, high speed drifting in snow.. and all that jazz :)
